Kate Johnson images added

Sculptor and painter Kate Johnson's work is now viewable on her page at www.ilkleyarttrail.org.uk

'Man and Machine' is made from perspex sheets fused together and 'built' at Bradford University using new technology and methodology. We are excited to promote this work. However 'Man and Machine' is actually larger than life size and is too heavy to bring to Kate's venue in Ilkley. Viewing can be arranged with the artist. Gallery enquiries are welcome.

Updates on website: www.ilkleyarttrail.org.uk

Ilkley Art Trail's new discovery!...

www.ilkleyarttrail.org.uk

Right under my nose for years and I didn't know! Did anyone?

Mary Fischer lives and paints at her home in Ilkley and is 95. Her career was mainly spent with Courtaulds Fabric. Anyone know the Mary Fischer range of fabric designs?

I am over the moon to say that thanks to the speedy actions of her nephew John Fisher (submissions were closing) Mary is now an Ilkley Art Trail artist she will be showing a collection of her mainly acrylics paintings at the home of another Ilkley Art Trail exhibitor, textile artist Linda Dewart.

Examples of Mary Fischer's work will soon be viewable on Ilkley Art Trail website but in the mean time I just had to bring them to you here...

These images may not be used or reproduced in any way and are the property of the artist.

What can I say?!

Details of the venue and opening times for Mary Fischer and Linda Dewart will be available at the end of September down loadable from Ilkley Art Trail
